Yu-Chen Chiu is a multimedia artist. She works with formats of photography, videos, interactive public installations and mobile public art.  The themes in my works deal with human psychological experiences such as displacement, urban loneliness and in search for identity, also the human interactivity within technology.

Grow up in Taipei, Taiwan. She came to New York City, USA in 2001 in perusing her masters' studies in communications studies. She attended Interactive Telecommunication Programs at New York University in 2004 and received the Master's degree in 2006.

Her interactive installations pieces include "Bubbles of the Note" a sound visualization installation; "CellWish" a visual-mobile public installation; "StoryCatcher," an interactive narrative installation. Those works have been exhibited in Chelsea Art Museum, Sony Wonder Lab Showcase,ITP spring show in New York City; Provflux Festival in Rhode Island and Videoformes in France.  Her video works also has been exhibiting and screening internationally, such as U.S, Austria, Brazil, France, Greece, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Russia, Australia and China.
